I met with Sonya and Julie - co-founders of STORY22, a StoryBrand marketing agency helping small businesses find clarity and confidence in their messaging.

Sonya and Julie are the kind of people who make you feel at ease straight away - warm, approachable and genuinely passionate about the work they do so I knew this shoot was going to be a good one!

We kept things relaxed and simple: a mix of natural portraits and behind-the-scenes moments to capture how they show up in their business every day. Nothing too formal, stuffy or over-styled - just an authentic reflection of how they work and how they connect with their clients.

I don’t think I’ve ever had clients laugh as much as these two. The joy and trust between them is so genuine and it made the whole shoot feel fun, natural and full of energy! I really wanted that to come through in the final images because their whole approach is rooted in human connection and storytelling, not just slick marketing.

Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to photograph the extended STORY22 team too and they’re just as amazing!
